Autonomous Operating Mode
The Autonomous operating mode provides maximum flexibility and control. Users receive a dedicated namespace on CC-IN2P3’s hosting platform with allocated CPU, RAM, and storage resources to deploy their own software stack.
This mode is targeted at specialists who require full control over their hosting environment. It demands a good understanding of container and container orchestration technologies, as well as web infrastructure management.
Dedicated namespace on the hosting platform (Kubernetes/Openshift based)
Allocated resources: CPU, RAM, and storage capacity
Full freedom to deploy custom software
Complete control over the technology stack
Valid CC-IN2P3 account
Approved web hosting request via user support
Strong knowledge of container and container orchestration technologies
OR a strong willingness to learn
Experience with web infrastructure management
User responsibilities:
Complete software stack deployment and management
All configuration and maintenance
Compliance with legal requirements
CC-IN2P3 responsibilities:
Infrastructure management
Requires advanced technical knowledge
Limited, best effort CC-IN2P3 support for custom software configurations
User is fully responsible for security and maintenance of their software stack
Allocated ressources are billed to the associated and CC-IN2P3 supported project, collaboration or organization

Before requesting Autonomous mode, ensure you have:
Experience with container technologies
Knowledge of web server administration
Time and resources to dedicate to maintenance and operation
Clear understanding of your application requirements
