IT security

In many cases, the hosted sites use free software and technologies. This software, if they provide valuable services at a lower cost, are subject to frequent updates to provide new features or correct security vulnerabilities. In the event that the site uses such software, we strongly encourage the webmaster to keep informed on these developments (by subscribing for example to the publisher’s mailing lists) and by regularly consulting the IT security bulletins issued by the CERT-A or the CERT-Renater.

Not installing security patches on a vulnerable site may be the cause of temporary or permanent site shutdown by our security responsibles (without notice), if the flaw is believed detrimental to the entire hosting service.

The same is true if inappropriate content is posted on a hosted site.
